About The Position

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team at Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on helping adults and geriatric patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through occupational therapy interventions. You will work as part of an established interdisciplinary team, building relationships with residents and directly observing the impact of your work. The position offers a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current or eligible Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Skilled nursing, geriatric or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required
New graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Helping residents improve activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting and self-care
Addressing strength, balance, coordination, endurance and functional mobility as they relate to daily activities
Providing therapeutic activities designed to improve independence and safety
Monitoring resident response to treatment and communicating progress with the supervising OT
Educating residents, families and caregivers on strategies that support continued success
Collaborating with PT, OT, SLP, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
