About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide and direct occupational therapy services to patients at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento in Folsom, California. The position includes patient assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication, and functions under physician’s orders. Vibra Hospital of Sacramento is a 58-bed critical care hospital providing acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Its patients may have medically complex conditions, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The hospital describes its work environment as fast-paced and friendly, with opportunities to get to know patients and their families. The position is part time and scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for COTA.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
