About The Position

PYG Therapy is expanding its pediatric home-based therapy services across Arizona and is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join their team. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and work arrangements (full-time, part-time, or contract) while providing a supportive and collaborative environment. Clinicians will provide care in patients' homes, focusing on implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and educating caregivers.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Article 9 certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric occupational therapy services in patients' homes
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Monitor patient progress and work toward individualized functional goals
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Educate and coach caregivers on strategies to support continued progress between visits
  • Communicate professionally and consistently with families, therapists, and members of the care team
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families while delivering quality, individualized care
