About The Position
We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our MedCare Pediatric team. This role focuses on providing one-on-one patient care in a collaborative environment, helping children improve their communication skills and reach their potential. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date.
- One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
