About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support rehab services in a skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on helping residents improve independence and function through guided, hands-on care.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
- Team-focused with a strong commitment to resident care
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment based on plans developed by the supervising therapist
- Lead activities that support self-care, coordination, and daily function
- Use adaptive techniques and tools to promote safety and independence
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Educate residents and caregivers on carryover strategies
- Complete accurate documentation
