About The Position
A respected hospital in Marion, Kansas, is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its rehabilitation team. The role offers a supportive team, mentorship, and resources for career growth. New graduates are welcome. The COTA will implement treatment plans under occupational therapist supervision, help patients with daily living and functional activities, document progress, communicate updates to the occupational therapist, educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, and support the rehabilitation team in achieving patient goals. The position is direct hire/permanent placement and is scheduled Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Kansas license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and patient-care focus.
