About The Position
A respected skilled nursing facility in San Jose, California, is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its rehabilitation team. The facility offers a supportive team environment, mentorship, and resources for career growth. New graduates are welcome. The estimated pay range is $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. This is a direct-hire, permanent-placement position scheduled Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current California license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-care focus.

Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under occupational therapist supervision.
- Assist patients with daily living and functional activities.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques.
- Support the rehabilitation team in achieving patient goals.
