About The Position

Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help patients regain the confidence and ability to perform daily activities that bring purpose and joy to their lives. As a COTA, you will treat patients in their homes, focusing on functional outcomes and building meaningful patient relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients, collaborate with experienced Occupational Therapists, and manage your own day with a focus on quality care rather than productivity metrics. Requirements

• Active Minnesota Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• Passion for helping patients regain independence and confidence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients improve independence with dressing, bathing, transfers, meal preparation, and other daily activities.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, and home safety recommendations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies that promote long-term success.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation.
