About The Position
Colonial Vista Post Acute is seeking an energetic, resident-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their therapy team. The COTA will help residents regain independence and confidence under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves carrying out treatment plans and supporting functional progress in a supportive, team-driven workplace where compassion and growth are valued.
Requirements
- Current Washington State COTA license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Casamba and PointClickCare preferred
- Skilled nursing or post acute rehab experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide direct treatment per the OT plan of care
- Complete accurate documentation in line with OT Board standards
- Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and home programs
- Share progress and needs with the supervising OT and care team
- Assist with discharge planning and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and safe
