About The Position
Liberty POST is seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) for part-time and/or full-time employment. The role involves working with children aged birth to 5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Liberty POST, established in 1994 and part of Liberty Resources Inc., provides a range of high-quality, individualized services. They employ over 500 professionals across New York State and Indiana, utilizing a collaborative team approach for evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. The organization emphasizes the importance of a child's natural learning environment, a family's unique strengths and needs, and the diverse population they serve.
Requirements
- Current New York State License and Registration in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least one year of experience working with early childhood
- Current OT License and Certification

- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play.
