Requirements
- Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with WellSky or another home health EMR is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living safely and independently
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, energy conservation, and home safety
- Communicate patient progress and changes in condition with the supervising Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation while maintaining Medicare and agency standards
