About The Position
As a COTA, under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will schedule, plan, and deliver prescribed occupational therapy treatments and home instruction to patients. Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in various therapeutic activities
- Maintaining communication with healthcare professionals and families
- Gathering assessment information
- Interpreting physician orders
- Providing patient education
- Reporting weekly on patient progress
