Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited COTA program.
- Current and valid COTA license.
- CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients in regaining functional abilities, improving daily living skills, and adapting to physical limitations.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques.
