Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
Nice To Haves
- Post-acute or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Help residents improve their strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
- Encourage and motivate residents throughout their recovery
- Document patient progress accurately and promptly
- Communicate with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families
- Contribute to a positive and encouraging rehabilitation experience
