About The Position
A respected Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Allendale, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its rehabilitation team. The role offers support, mentorship, and resources for career growth in a warm, supportive team environment. New graduates are welcome. The COTA will implement treatment plans under occupational therapist supervision, assist patients with daily living and functional activities, document progress, communicate updates to the occupational therapist, educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, and support the rehabilitation team in achieving patient goals. The position is direct hire and permanent placement, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Estimated pay is approximately $32–$38 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current New Jersey license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on patient care.
