About The Position
Autumn Lake at Chevy Chase is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide hands-on treatment under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will help residents make progress in their daily lives by assisting them with everyday tasks and practicing skills such as dressing and grooming. This role involves collaborating with the supervising OT and the care team, sharing observations, and maintaining current treatment notes.
Requirements
- Active Maryland COTA license
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

Responsibilities
- Lead therapy activities based on plans developed by the supervising OT
- Help residents practice dressing, grooming, and other everyday tasks
- Share observations about residents' progress with the OT
- Keep treatment notes current and coordinate with the care team
