About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to become part of the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Summit Park. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents strengthen everyday skills and regain confidence with the activities that matter most to them.
Requirements
- Active Maryland COTA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate COTAs are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
- Implement treatment programs established by the supervising OT
- Track resident progress and communicate relevant updates to the therapy team
- Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
