About The Position

Sage Connections is hiring a full-time, W-2 Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based services for K–12 students during the 2026–2027 school year. The role is onsite in Illinois, with multiple caseloads available for students ages K–22. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for 35–40 hours per week. The posting lists dates of August 2025 through May 2026. The COTA provides services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and supports students’ participation in the school setting. Requirements

Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
Current Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

School-based experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, aligned with student IEPs.
Implement individualized treatment plans and goals developed by the supervising OT.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student participation.
Monitor student progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
Document services and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Support IEP meetings and educational planning as appropriate.
