Working alongside Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll provide meaningful therapy interventions that support resident goals and improve quality of life. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for helping residents maximize independence and quality of life
Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment

Nice To Haves

Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions that promote functional independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and discharge recommendations
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and billing guidelines
Maintain treatment schedules while supporting efficient rehabilitation services
Assist in supervising rehabilitation technicians and affiliating students as appropriate
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible resident outcomes
