Certified Nursing Assistant, Assisted Living, Full Time 2nd Shift
About The Position
Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support residents in its senior living community. The role provides daily direct care and assistance with basic personal care according to established procedures and daily assignments. Duties may also include supporting activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. The position may be cross-trained in Assisted Living. The CNA reports directly to the nurse manager and may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff. Positions are available in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The role is part of a supportive, faith-based community focused on teamwork, respect, and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state and passing its test.
- Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents daily.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation or transfers.
- Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- Keep resident rooms clean and orderly, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, and closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notify a supervisor of clothing needs.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
