About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Med/Surg Tele Observation Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Downtown. CNAs assist Registered Nurses in providing patient care and work under the supervision of an RN. The role is a full-time day position, working 36 hours per week on shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Downtown Main Building in Jacksonville, Florida. An up-to-$500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time day CNAs.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patients’ activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
