About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Baylor Shift (Weekend Nights) at 5-Star Rated Acacia Health Center. Acacia Health Center is a resort-style community in Northeast Phoenix offering unparalleled comfort and care for seniors. Managed by Life Care Services, it boasts a 5-star CMS rating and offers top-tier skilled nursing services. The role involves providing direct care, assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), taking vital signs, and helping with treatments.

Requirements

• Successfully completed an approved nursing assistant training program
• Current Arizona CNA license required
• Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
• Able to document care given
• Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs frequently and assisting with resident transfers up to 125 lbs, pushing up to 150 lbs in shower chairs or wheelchairs
• Passionate about caring for others and always ready with a smile!
• Flu vaccine required during flu season

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights
• Changing linens
• Keeping residents' rooms tidy
• Maintaining safe and sanitary conditions
• Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Take vital signs
• Help with treatments
