About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services that support care delivered to clients, following established nursing care procedures and the direction of the Nursing Supervisor. The role may also perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services or designee, Unit Supervisor, DSD, or Infection Control Nurse. Crestwood Treatment Center in Fremont is a skilled nursing facility providing long-term care to individuals diagnosed with an organic brain disease. Residents typically have a combination of psychiatric and dementia-related behaviors. The position is part-time or on-call and offers AM shifts on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, and PM shifts on Friday or Saturday. New graduates are welcome to apply. The stated pay range is $25.21 per hour. Final pay is based on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity checks.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Current, valid CNA certification issued by the California State Department of Health Service.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing assistant experience is preferred.
