About The Position
Bone & Joint is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality, compassionate care to surgical and procedural patients at its surgery centers. The role works closely with nursing staff in a fast-paced environment and focuses on treating patients with dignity and respect while helping ensure a positive patient experience. Throughout the day, the Certified Nursing Assistant works through patient assignments and varied tasks. Duties include helping patients move around the facility and repositioning them for comfort; preparing equipment and supplies; checking vital signs; testing blood sugar; taking blood samples; and performing other preoperative tests. Work hours are variable and normally start mid-morning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certification or the ability to apply for certification.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
