PRN Inpatient Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Days
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers personal care and minimal homemaker services that promote a safe and clean patient environment for hospice patients in a home, assisted living facility, or long-term care facility. Services are provided in accordance with Hosparus Health policies and the CNA plan of care. The CNA also participates in developing policies and procedures that guide the provision of hospice care. This PRN inpatient hospice position is based at Norton Healthcare Pavilion in Louisville, Kentucky. The schedule is self-scheduled for three shifts per month, including at least one weekend shift.
Requirements
- CNA certification in the state where hired, or an active LPN or RN license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Auto insurance coverage.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
- One year of home health aide or nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Experience using technology-based tools, including an electronic medical record, strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
