About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant is specifically trained and competent to perform assigned personal-care functions for patients in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The role supports patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges and helps ensure their personal-care needs are met in accordance with their wishes and care plans.
Requirements
- CNA license certification is required prior to hiring.
- Must have a current CPR certification and fingerprint clearance card.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of CNA/LNA experience is preferred.
- Recent experience in long-term care, a skilled nursing facility, or transitional rehabilitation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests/patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Routinely check guests/patients to ensure their personal-care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes and care plans.
- Review care plans daily to identify changes to guests’/patients’ daily care routines.
