About The Position

The Ridge Senior Living is seeking caring and qualified Certified Nursing Assistants, CNAs, and caregivers to support residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs. Front-line caregivers work with residents and their families to help meet residents’ physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. The role provides resident-centered personal care, assistance with mobility and dining, and documentation of resident care and behavior. The Ridge offers opportunities to advance through a Career Ladder, with a wage increase accompanying each promotion.

Requirements

Current and active Utah CNA certification.
Dedication and passion for serving seniors, with excellent customer service skills.
Positive attitude, flexibility to perform varied duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interest.
Written and verbal communication skills and an appropriate level of understanding.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Minimum age of 16.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with seniors.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care.
High school graduation or a general equivalency diploma (GED); preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered personal care, including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing and undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support.
Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment.
Help provide a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks, and supplements.
Document resident care and behavior.
Work with residents and their families to help ensure residents’ physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs are met.
