About The Position

Brookdale Overland Park is hiring full-time Certified Nursing Assistants for the day shift at a continuing care retirement community offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care. The role provides seniors with personalized care and includes resident check-ins, dining and personal care assistance, vital-sign checks, and clinical procedures in accordance with community policy. CNAs provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift and assist with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming. Openings require working every other weekend. Saturday and Sunday shifts include a $4-per-hour shift differential. A $500 sign-on bonus is available for full-time employees. Requirements

Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course.
Maintain CNA/STNA certification.

Responsibilities

Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
Provide resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal care needs.
Perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
