About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides services and procedures delegated, assigned, and supervised by a Unity RN. These services are based on the RN’s comprehensive assessment of the patient’s personal care needs and are documented in the Activities of Daily Living Plan of Care. The position serves as a Primary CNA at the Meng Residence, providing ongoing care and coordination for patients and families. During periods of higher census, the CNA is cross-trained to support the community team. This may include managing a small patient caseload, working as a float CNA, and providing care to patients in their homes or other facilities to help maintain consistent, high-quality care across settings. The regular schedule rotates between 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM, two days per week: Week 1 on Monday and Friday, and Week 2 on Wednesday and Thursday. The role has approximately 10–15 on-call shifts per year and 1–2 holiday shifts per year, with holiday shifts lasting 12 hours. The posting says a minimum every-other-weekend rotation may apply, although this position does not currently include weekends and that may change.
