Certified Nursing Assistant - Meng Residence

Unity Hospice•De Pere, WI
•Onsite

About The Position

Unity Hospice is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to serve as a Primary CNA at the Meng Residence, providing ongoing care and coordination for patients and families. The CNA provides services and procedures delegated, assigned, and supervised by a Unity RN, based on the RN’s assessment of the patient’s personal care needs and documented in the Activities of Daily Living Plan of Care. During periods of higher census, the CNA may be cross-trained to support the community team by managing a small patient caseload, working as a float CNA, and providing care to patients in their homes or other facilities. The regular schedule rotates between two 12-hour shifts per week: Week 1 on Monday and Friday, and Week 2 on Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The position has approximately 10–15 on-call shifts per year and approximately 1–2 holiday shifts per year. Although the position does not currently include weekends, the posting says this may change; it also describes a minimum every-other-weekend rotation.
