About The Position
Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Progressive Care Unit. This is a Full-Time Nights position working 36 hours per week with shifts of 7pm-7am located at Baptist South. We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties. The hospital blends resort-like amenities with the most advanced medical care, providing for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
Nice To Haves
- HSD/GED Preferred
Responsibilities
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
