About The Position
Journey Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care and support to residents. Journey emphasizes local leadership and a dedicated home office team, with a mission to achieve exceptional quality outcomes through a world-class Care Team. Team members are expected to support residents with daily activities, monitor and report health information, and work collaboratively to maintain a safe environment. The role requires state certification and at least 12 hours of continuing education provided by the center to maintain certification.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a CNA, SRNA, or GNA.
- Attend at least 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Offer residents emotional support and companionship.
- Monitor vital signs and accurately document patient information.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions or other concerns to nursing staff.
- Follow infection control protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
