About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the DOU department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care hospital founded in 1964. It provides general medical and surgical inpatient care, emergency and surgical services, behavioral health, heart care, and diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of previous experience in an acute-care hospital or physician’s office.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
