About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the DOU department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care hospital founded in 1964. It provides general medical and surgical inpatient care, emergency and surgical services, behavioral health, a comprehensive heart center, and diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
