About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Med/Surg Department assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients. The CNA also helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care facility serving Northern California. It provides a comprehensive range of services and patient-centered healthcare with compassion, dignity, and respect for patients and their families.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
