Provide medical or therapeutic care under direction of nursing or clinical staff. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients, providing a positive, supportive, and structured environment, and assisting with patient care activities. This role involves patient observation, maintaining a clean environment, assisting with patient transfers and mobility, obtaining vital signs, and engaging patients in activities to support treatment goals. The CNA will also apply de-escalation techniques, reinforce learned skills, ensure patient comfort and dignity, and document patient information accurately. Collaboration with other staff and adherence to facility policies are essential. A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude is expected at all times, with a focus on patient safety and effective communication.
