About The Position

NiteLines USA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient care at the Middlesex County Improvement Authority in Edison, New Jersey. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities and personal hygiene, providing adjunct care, and monitoring and recording vital signs and other daily information. The position is listed as 1099 and pays $21.00 per hour. Shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• License issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Physical examination.
• Flu shot for the current season.
• Negative COVID test prior to starting.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, providing fresh water, and offering nourishment between meals.
• Help patients with personal hygiene.
• Provide bedpans and assist patients with baths, shampoos, and showers.
• Provide adjunct care, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in patients’ charts.
