About The Position
Cascades at Riverwalk is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Midvale, Utah. The role supports residents receiving long-term and short-term care, with a focus on consistent, knowledgeable, compassionate care for a geriatric population. CNAs help residents with daily needs, monitor their comfort and preferences, and build relationships with residents and their families. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
- Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Answer call lights and support residents' daily needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
- Monitor residents' comfort, preferences, and dietary needs while treating them with dignity and respect.
- Document intake and output as needed and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents and their families.
