About The Position

Otterbein is seeking a skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The role supports residents with daily activities and provides services under the supervision of a nurse, helping them feel comfortable and as independent as possible. The position is available on first, second, and third shifts, with both full-time and part-time schedules.

Requirements

Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in the State of Ohio.
Pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
Have good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with day-to-day tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
Provide accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation.
Perform other duties as needs arise or as assigned.
