About The Position

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The role supports residents with daily activities and provides services under the supervision of a nurse, helping residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible. The position is at Otterbein Sunset Village. Full-time and part-time shifts are available across first, second, and third shifts.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in the State of Ohio.
Must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
Provide a range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
Help residents feel comfortable and maintain as much independence as possible in their daily lives.
Complete care documentation accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Perform other duties as needs arise or as assigned.
