About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Assistive Care Division to serve patients on a per-visit basis in Huntersville, North Charlotte, Concord, and Kannapolis. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the CNA provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The position involves one-on-one care and building relationships with clients while supporting activities of daily living and other needs.

Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
Successful completion of a recognized CNA training course and certification to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Passion for caregiving and private home care, and desire to help others.
Commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to providing compassionate, excellent, and reliable patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal, household, and companion care in accordance with a registered nurse’s written plan of care.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Help clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
