About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Assistive Care Division to serve patients on a per-visit basis in Huntersville, North Charlotte, Concord, and Kannapolis. Working from a written plan of care by a registered nurse, the CNA provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent in their homes. The role involves one-on-one patient care and building close relationships with clients. Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
Successful completion of a recognized CNA training course.
Certification to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
