Certified Nursing Assistant-Weekend Warrior-Day Shift
About The Position
Lynwood Manor, a diverse skilled nursing facility in Adrian, Michigan, is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants. The position provides quality resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel and in accordance with applicable regulations. This is a Weekend Warrior day-shift schedule: work 24 hours on the weekend and get paid for 36 hours. Requirements
- Must be a certified nursing assistant.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care in accordance with treatment plans and as directed by the Nursing Supervisor or Nurse Manager.
- Accompany residents to activities and functions as needed.
- Participate in resident care assessments.
- Assist in developing resident treatment plans.
- Understand and use proper infection-control policies and practices.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in the restorative nursing program.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents.
- Comply with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory standards.
- Attend meetings and in-service sessions as directed.
- Access continuing education opportunities as appropriate to the discipline to maintain clinical currency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
