About The Position
Benedictine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-NAR) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. The role focuses on treating residents with dignity and respect and supporting their choices. New and experienced CNAs are welcome to apply. Benedictine and its ministry partners are a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. The organization emphasizes Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice, and aims to provide a comforting, empowering culture for residents and team members.
Requirements
- Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report changes in residents' conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart care in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
