About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Beaches. The role assists Registered Nurses with the care of patients who have healthcare needs. This is a full-time night position requiring 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. A sign-on bonus of up to $750 is offered for eligible full-time night CNAs.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant credential required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patients’ activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
