About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working 36 hours per week, 7:00pm-7:00am. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs.
Requirements
- None
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required

Responsibilities
- Assists RNs in the care of patients with healthcare needs including activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, intake and output monitoring, and electronic medical record documentation
- Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
