About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. The CNA assists Registered Nurses with patient care and works under an RN’s supervision. This full-time night position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Baptist Medical Center South serves neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties and provides advanced medical care alongside amenities intended to support patients and their families.
Requirements
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No experience required.

Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses with the care of patients with healthcare needs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
