About The Position

CarDon and Associates is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Carmel Health and Living. CNAs provide high-quality care to residents by assisting with daily living activities and supporting their comfort and well-being. They work closely with nursing staff to monitor residents’ health and report changes in condition. Requirements

Successfully complete a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program, or provide acceptable verification from the State Nurse Assistant Registry.
Have no finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes.
