About The Position
Collage Nursing and Homecare is hiring a CNA to provide in-home care to a client in Cumming, Georgia. The position offers 12-hour day or night shifts and pays $20 per hour. The CNA will assist elderly clients and people recovering from surgery, injuries, or accidents with personal care and daily living activities. Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
- Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent, experience as a caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
- Take pride in providing high-quality care.

- Hoyer lift experience (specific to the client).
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
- Support clients with mobility at home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals, and help with physical therapy exercises.
- Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while shopping.
- Perform housekeeping duties and report unusual incidents.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Assist clients with meals, including serving and related tasks as needed.
