About The Position

Otterbein is seeking skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) to provide person-centered care that respects residents and their choices. The role supports residents with daily living activities and a range of services under the supervision of a nurse, helping them feel comfortable and as independent as possible. The position is offered full-time or part-time, with first, second, and third shifts available.

Requirements

Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in the State of Ohio.
Pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
Have good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Use proper lift techniques and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with day-to-day tasks, including bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
Provide support services under the supervision of a nurse.
Help residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible in their daily lives.
Complete care documentation accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Plan and cook residents’ favorite foods and share meals with them.
Perform laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
Perform other duties as needs arise or as assigned.
